A word from our Minister
"We are an active church that seeks to discover God at work in our lives and in the lives of others.

Through worship, learning, caring, service and in sharing the love of Jesus, we look to become His disciples. We are active as Christians in the local community and many groups find a home in our wonderful modern premises.

Whether you are visiting us through the website or at the church itself, we pray that you will glimpse something of the life we share in Christ, and that you may share that life too."

Our Focus this Month
What's On
The beginning of May is always a busy time at CFMC. This year even more so.

On Friday 3rd May, we are delighted to welcome the Royal Marines Band who are staging their Soloists Competition in the Church at 7.30pm. We expect a full house for this prestigious event so please get your tickets asap. Church volunteers are providing the interval refreshments and we are keeping any profits for our ‘30 Years On’ fundraising.

We are having a Floral Workshop on Saturday 4th May at 10am – tickets £15 including all materials and flowers, cake and coffee. Do come and join us!

As usual, the first Sunday in the month, 5th May, is Breakfast Church at 9.30am, a time to share good food and chat and to learn more about following Jesus. Coffee follows seamlessly at 10.30am and then the 11am service, followed by coffee.

On 6th May, Bank Holiday Monday we are again offering refreshments and running the plant stall at Fryern Funtasia which runs from 12noon to 4.30pm on the Rec. We are always looking for freshly-made cakes to sell, plants surplus to your garden and extra helpers. It’s good fun too, making new friends and getting to know people better.
